Sunday Pub Quiz
Tuesday Trad Music
Every Tuesday evening from 8PM-11PM we welcome a some of Scotland’s most talented Scottish Trad musicians who fill the bar with traditional Scottish and Irish music
Our weekly pub quiz is hosted by QuizMarkster and kicks off at 7:30PM every Sunday. The prizes? A £50 Machair Bar Voucher for the winner, and a higher/lower card sequence resulting in a cash jackpot that rolls over each week there is no winner
Whisky Tastings
Live Music - Mic & Olivia
At the Machair you’ll find a rotating Malt of the Month which we love to further promote by inviting the distillery ambassadors to host a monthly whisky tasting. Check out our social media pages for up to date details on with whom and when the next tasting will take place
The first Friday of every month the fantastic duo Mic and Olivia perform live music at the Machair. This is a quality session mixing original music and covers that you won’t want to miss - Harmonious sounds
Art Exhibition
We love supporting our artistic community. The Machair shares its walls with local artists who may not always be able to access exhibition space. Each month we host a launch event for the exhibition. Check out our social media pages for the rotating dates

You may know our host Mark from our weekly pub quiz, he also runs our monthly karaoke sessions on the last Friday of each month! Come try your skills at classics and new hits, or to support your friends
